Our rising AFL star
Here at Nelson Alexander, we want to extend our warmest congratulations to our Property Assistant Curtis Taylor, recently drafted to the AFL’s North Melbourne Football Club. We wish Curtis all the very best as he pursues his professional sporting career.
Curtis Taylor approached Nelson Alexander Essendon in February 2018 after he finished his secondary education at Penleigh Essendon Grammar. Already, making headlines as a rising AFL player at the Keilor Football Club and Calder Cannons, Curtis wanted to ensure he had career options and decided to follow his other growing passion – Real Estate and joined the Nelson Alexander Essendon team in a Work Experience Placement Program.
Curtis took to Real Estate like a fish to water and the staff at Nelson Alexander were very impressed with his drive, enthusiasm and performance from day one. When his work experience concluded he was offered a role within the Property Management division as a Property Assistant. The team members and managers found that Curtis approached his work in the same way that he approached his sport, with commitment, motivation and dedication. Curtis showed that he was a team player on and off the field and shined in his role.
At Nelson Alexander, we value our staff and encourage a well-rounded lifestyle and ensured we worked with Curtis and provided him an environment where he had the time required to excel in his sport along with his career ambitions at Nelson Alexander.
Nelson Alexander couldn’t be prouder that Curtis has been drafted and wish him the greatest success as he enters the professional sporting arena with the North Melbourne Football Club.
