Strathmore Heights
Strathmore Heights – between Moonee Ponds Creek and Essendon Airport – is 14 km north-west from Melbourne’s CBD.
With a large area of reserve that includes a skateboard ramp, tennis courts, playgrounds, and a community centre, Strathmore Heights is a relatively new suburb which commenced development in the 1960s. Mostly comprised of single houses, and populated mainly by professional people, the suburb is serviced by a bus route.
